Christie Werts is a former foster child who became an unexpected foster mother after adopting her Husband’s ex-wife’s baby after bio-mom passed away unexpectedly . Even though revisiting the foster care system dug up hard memories, Christie pulled through with the power of prayer, love and compassion.
Beyond her viral story, Christie is a US Army Veteran. Former youth leader, and always felt she had a story to tell. Christie has spoken at events and woman’s groups, sharing her testimony of God’s grace even through tragedy.
Married to her best friend Wes. They also share five children ranging from twenty- two to two.
Christie plans to start a book signing and speaking tour in the summer of 2024.
